Just had Wilfredo and his crew back for our third job with them. This time they completely tore out a (horrible) backyard, built a new paver patio and a path (connecting it to a smaller portion they did 5 years ago, which they actually tore out and redid to make the new portion flow better), poured footers for a floating deck, and laid sod. The yard is stunning. The entire team did a wonderful job. They were on time every day and cleaned up well at the end of each day. They finished the job promptly despite a lot of rainy weather. It was a pretty big project. We had giant tree stumps to remove, asphalt to be ripped up, ground to be leveled, and a fence to be replaced. They built us a beautiful patio, created a level area for the pool, put up a new fence, rebuilt a pathway in the front with pavers, built a raised bed along the front walkway for flowers & the like, and even incorporated a space for a vegetable garden in the back. They helped us select and then planted all the trees and shrubs.  I loved that they improved on our ideas - if I wanted something done that wasn't really doable or realistic for the space, Wilfredo found a way to adjust the idea to make it work. Wilfredo, Cesar and the rest of the team are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were neat, on time, and so pleasant. The only delay we had was the delivery of the fence, which was totally out of their control because of COVID, shipping delays, lack of materials due to demand, etc. Other than that 1 week fence delay, everything was done as promised & on time. I'm absolutely in love with our new & improved backyard.  After plenty of experiences with disappointing contractors, it's extremely refreshing to have a company show up on time, do their jobs very well, and to be there if you have questions or issues after the fact. We recently hired AA&B Landscaping to build a 100ft retaining wall in our backyard. They are a wonderful company to do business with and worked with us to keep the project in our budget. I contacted Wilfredo at AA&B via Google after I read some of the reviews. He picked up the phone and came out to my home THAT evening, despite me having a flight and rushing him, he was calm, cool and collected. Wilfredo gave me a quote on site, which I was very pleased with since I had received several quotes already. Wilfredo and his team got started on the job within the week, exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, and looks, stuck to the quote and budget and the work was SO good, I had him rip out my front steps and pathway and do some work there so it matched the back yard he finished. I was so impressed with the work, I continued to add things to his plate and he did it without a hitch. I had him dig up and plant some flower beds with some natural stone, haul away some debris, clean up and cut the lawn etc. It was a one stop shop and I've ALREADY recommended him to friends and family because of the quality of work. I can't wait to use him again in the fall for a fall clean up and for some more work next spring & summer!

Updated 9/23/15:I had AA&B return to my house to replace my brick steps and replace my walk-way. Both came out perfect and beautiful.Wilfredo showed up on time and completed the job in 1 week. They were fantastic.Wilfredo came to the house, viewed the neighborhood and showed us a number of different styles and designs. After settling on an Old Boston cobble stone design, we scheduled a start date. His team was punctual, professional and very courteous to my family members. The wall they installed, over 140 linear feet, was not an easy job.   They worked without interruption, long days and were very neat when they left for the day.The results look great! The color of the stone and style look perfect for the surrounding area. After completion they seeded, confirmed the sprinklers were working and left the rest of the yard in good shape.After seeing their work, I’m now considering updating my front walkway. I would definitely have them do the job and would recommend them for anyone considering similar work.Well done!

The lawn looks beautiful, the watering system is on a timer with a sensor and it works perfectly!! My house came with a crumbling concrete side yard and a front yard made up of a bed of mulch with raised pavers that acted as a walkway, but were really more of a tripping hazard.I hired AA&B to replace the concrete with pavers, install a fence around my front yard and lay grass seed in my front and back lawns.AA&B carefully removed the concrete without disturbing the gas line and disposed of it. I also opted to pay extra to cover the disposal fee for the 4x4 beams that made up the perimeter of the yard.The finished job looks great and I got many compliments on it from friends and neighbors, but I would say the best thing about going with AA&B is Wilfredo's knowledge of landscaping and masonry. He gave me a lot of valuable insight that I appreciated as a new homeowner.My only issue is that during the installation of the pavers, AA&B noticed that the supports for my back steps had separated from their base and they didn't tell me until after the job was done. We did not put anything in the contract about the back steps, so I don't hold it against them for not letting me know, but I think the problem would have been easier to fix before the pavers were fully put in.On the other hand, AA&B also included three nice lavender plants to go along my fence and did not charge for the grass seed. I am a return customer.  I hired AA&B Landscaping again to build a raised patio ( 15'.0" x 41'-0")  with built-in planting area, fix lawn and sprinkler system all around the house that was disturbed due to additional construction. Wilfredo and his crews did an awesome job. As an architect , I just cannot let go of less than perfect job. Wilfredo and his crew again did a perfect job.  I highly recommend. My neighbors come and knock on my door to ask who did it.
The review below is from 2015.AA&B landscaping is just perfect, great work, friendly manner, on time, and great after-job service. I cannot ask anything more from Wilfredo and his crews. They put down sod on our entire front and back yard ( about 8,000 s.f ), hydroseed side yard ( about 500 s.f), paved front walkway ( about 6'-0" x 20'-0" ),  installed irrigation system ( I think our yard has about 35+ sprinkler heads installed) , created mulch area around trees and around the house. Everything turned out amazing! Their price was very very reasonable. They were on the job everyday from the start till the completion.  I cannot be happier. Everybody praises our perfect lawn and paved walkway. Strongly recommend!

Updated 5/17/18:Since we were so happy with the job Wilfredo did with our granite wall caps a few years ago, we sought out his services for repairing our irrigation system and sod installation after having an inground pool installed.  Wilfredo and his team did a great job grading the yard, laying sod, and fixing multiple sprinkler zones.  He even added a few additional sprinkler heads to cover some areas that needed it.  He suggested adding a natural stone walkway to lead from the existing deck to the new pool deck in order to protect the new sod.  This was something we had overlooked and we were glad Wilfredo suggested it.  While not in the original budget, he worked with us to help it fit and the new bluestone path looks fantastic.  Overall, we are once again satisfied with the work of Wilfredo and his team and we would recommend them completely.AA&B landscaping did a great job on the installation of capping on the granite walls that surround my driveway.   Prior to the installation, Wilfredo was very helpful in showing the design layouts and material options available to us for topping the wall.  After settling upon granite, he and his team did a fantastic job with the installation.   Where one of the walls is angled in 2 places, he used a special saw to cut the granite and mitered the corners perfectly for a really professional look. The granite caps really do make the wall “pop”.  His team is a really hardworking crew and finished the whole job in less than 2 days. Aside from installing the caps on nearly 100 linear feet of wall, Wilfredo and his team added loam, grass seed, and fertilizer behind one of the walls in order to bring it up to grade with the rest of the lawn.  We have had several people walking by tell us how great it looks and how much the caps on the wall make the wall itself stand out more now.I would not hesitate to call Wilfredo and AA&B again in the future!
